What the site does

You answer four questions. We check those answers against the rules each credit provider sets about who it will lend to, and show you the ones that are open to you. You apply on the provider’s own site. They decide.

The point is not to show you every lender in the country. It is to show you fewer: the ones whose own criteria you already meet. Every application a provider processes leaves an enquiry on your credit record, and a row of declines makes the next application harder.

What the site does not do

• We do not lend money and we are not a registered credit provider.
• We do not decide who is approved, and we cannot influence a provider’s decision.
• We do not run a credit check when you use the quiz.
• We never charge you.

How offers are chosen

Only providers registered with the National Credit Regulator appear here, always with their registration number. Where a provider publishes its maximum annual rate and a representative example of the cost, we show them; where it does not, it shows its full cost before you sign. Your answers and each provider’s rules decide which providers you see; we decide the order, and what a provider pays us can affect it.
