Our social media pages
RandScout is on Facebook and Instagram. These are our only pages. Please do not send your ID number, bank details or loan applications there — use email — and be wary of anyone in a message or comment who offers a loan in our name: we never lend money or ask for a fee.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you why a provider declined you, change its decision, or discuss an application you made on a provider’s site. Those belong to the provider — its details are on the agreement it sent you, and its registration is on the NCR register.
If you have a complaint about a credit provider
The National Credit Regulator handles complaints about registered credit providers, and the National Financial Ombud Scheme (which took over the Credit Ombud’s work in 2024) handles disputes about credit agreements and credit bureau listings. Both are free to use. Our complaints page explains which to use when.
If you have a complaint about how we handled your data
Write to us first — we would rather fix it. If that does not settle it, the Information Regulator of South Africa takes complaints under POPIA.
